Appeal to CA Members |
| "Appeal Distribution Program to Constituent Assembly Members" was organized by "National Network of Mine Victims" which was form in August 2007 initiated by NCBL. 19 July was the election day of the first president of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Victims distributed an appeal requesting CA members to play role for humanitarian issues by all the political parites. They have to fight for protection of civilians, not only for political powers only. In the program victims from Dhading, Dolakah, Gulmi, Lamjung and Sindhupalchok districts were participated. The members of youth for peace also actively participated in that program. The CA members from different political parties including CPN (Maoist) received the appeals. CA member and former minister and member of peace dialogue committee Mr. Pradip Gyanwali showed his commitment to speak and to take stand for the rights and welfare of victims. The media covered the news widely. |
